So, uh, Gwinnett...thought about what you’re gonna do with that Christmas tree after the holidays pass?

No? Don’t fret — Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful is here to help.

The local nonprofit participates each year in Georgia’s “Bring One for the Chipper” event, which allows folks to drop off their trees for recycling (yay, Earth!) for free (yay, pocketbook!) at 29 different Gwinnett fire stations (yay, convenience!).

Drop-offs start Dec. 26 and run until Jan. 15. Trees must be free of lights, stands and ornaments to be eligible, but they can be dropped off at any of the locations below.

The actual recycling part of the process will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Jan. 21 at Lawrenceville's Bethesda Park. Click here to volunteer.
