The second person found dead after an explosive south Fulton County house fire has been named.
Sarone R. Bridges, 35, died of burns and smoke inhalation from the Aug. 27 fire that consumed the home in the 8600 block of Garvey Drive, near Fairburn.
Beverly Bland's body also was found in the remains of the fire, but Fulton County police investigators say the 34-year-old woman was strangled to death before the fire ever began.
The fire was declared an arson by Fulton County fire authorities, and both the fire and Bland's death still are under investigation.
Bridges owned the home, police say. What remains unclear, however, is whether investigators view him as a suspect in either the fire or the killing.
