Home Depot in Cherokee cleared after suspicious package

A Home Depot in Cherokee County was cleared Saturday due to a suspicious package, according to Channel 2 Action News.

A robot used to detect explosives was brought in as part of the investigation at the store on Highway 5 in Holly Springs. The Cherokee County Fire Department removed the package, which was determined to be safe.
