A man critically injured in a hit-and-run in northwest Atlanta in November died on his 26th birthday Wednesday, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Nathan Powell was hit by a car as he crossed the street after stepping off a MARTA bus in the 1300 block of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard around 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 4. He was treated by Atlanta Fire Rescue before being transported to Grady Memorial Hospital.

Police are still looking for the driver of a black 2005 Chevrolet Impala believed to have hit Powell while racing a red vehicle.
