Unless you’re working, you should probably plan to sit on the couch New Year’s Day.

DeKalb County government offices and courts will be closed that day. So any business that you were hoping to get taken care of will have to wait until Jan. 2, 2019.

County libraries will close at 5 p.m. on New Year's Eve and will reopen Jan. 2.

If you are looking for something fun to do, Stone Mountain Park will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. It's biggest winter attraction, Snow Mountain will be open until 10 p.m.
