HCPD gets $500 donation

The Henry County Police Department received a $500 donation from Tanger Outlet Center and its merchants, the acceptance of which was approved by the Henry County Board of Commissioners at its Jan. 20 meeting.

The businesses made the contribution because they believe their success is partly due to “local public safety personnel working hard to create a safe environment,” said HCPD Major Keith Going.
