The Hapeville City Council will consider a conditional use permit request 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hapeville City Hall, 700 Doug Davis Drive to build a replacement telecommunications structure 90 feet from the original tower placement located at 501 King Arnold St.

The new tower will be further back in the woods and away from residences. If approved the structure will be 156 feet tall and designed to appear as a coniferous tree.

The council will also discuss appointing new members to city board groups. The board of appeals has one vacancy and the development authority has two seats vacant.
