The Hapeville City Council will appoint a board member to the city’s Design Review Committee during the regular meeting at 7 p.m. today at Hapeville City Hall, 700 Doug Davis Drive.
Another item considered is the amendment to the city budget to purchase a new fire truck. The council will also discuss a memorandum of understanding with St. John the Evangelist Catholic School, to use the Tom E. Morris Sports Complex Parking Lot for evacuation of students during emergencies. Other items addressed during the meeting are: clarification of definitions contained the city’s surfacing ordinance; clarification of rules for extended stay hotels; an official rezoning of the city map; and a discussion of amendments to the ordinance regarding content driven signs within the city.
