Gwinnett woman charged with stabbing death of husband

July 27, 2009A Gwinnett County woman was arrested Saturday for the stabbing death of her husband.
About 8:30 a.m., officers responding to a “trouble unknown” call at the home of Gregory and Ashley Schutt on Thomas Palmer Court in Lawrenceville found Gregory Schutt, 30, dead from multiple stab wounds, Gwinnett police Cpl. David Schiralli said.
“From evidence found at the scene and statements made by Mrs. Schutt, our investigators were able to establish enough probable cause to charge her with his death,” Schiralli said.
Ashley Schutt, 27, was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail Saturday night on charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a crime. She is being held without bond.
