Walmart’s rolling out a more interesting way to pick up your groceries at one Gwinnett County store.

The Walmart at 2154 Duluth Hwy. in Duluth will be the only metro Atlanta location with the new “Pickup Tower.” The tower has been described as a “high-tech vending machine” that will give you the items you’ve selected for pickup.

The tower is one of 100 being added across the country. The company initially tested five towers across the country. The customer response was “so overwhelming” that Walmart has decided to roll out 100 new ones.

All you have to do to try out the new Pickup Tower is place a pickup order online and retrieve it from the Duluth Highway store.

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors. And while Atlanta wasn't included in Trump's list, the city fits that profile under Mayor Andre Dickens. (Photo Illustration: Philip Robibero / AJC | Source: Getty)
