A task force of Gwinnett County employees will study county pay and benefits.

County Administrator Glenn Stephens appointed the task force to study the impact of declining revenues on the county’s financial position and make recommendations on all aspects of employee compensation. Among other things, the group will study retirement and insurance plans and policies for holiday, annual and sick leave. The group will present its findings later this year.

Earlier this year Commissioner Mike Beaudreau set a goal of reducing personnel costs by 5 percent. He said he supports the task force.
