Gwinnett Place hosts community design workshop

The Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District will host a community design workshop from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 4 and Oct. 6 at Ferguson Elementary School, 1755 Centerview Drive, Duluth.

The workshop is part of the Gwinnett Livable Centers Initiative, which focuses on transportation, land use and urban design planning. Professional planners, designers and market analysts will lead activities and educational sessions during the workshop, which is open to the public.

The study area includes the intersections of major roads like I-85, Ga. 316, Pleasant Hill Road, Ga. 120 and Satellite Boulevard.
