A Gwinnett County man is "still in shock" after winning $750,000 on a Georgia Lottery scratch-off ticket Tuesday.

"I don't think the feeling has really hit me yet," John Brannon, 36, of Lawrenceville, said in a news release.

Brannon bought the winning Silver Peach ticket at the Exxon Food Mart at 2094 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road in Suwanee. He told lottery officials he'd decided to stop on his way home from work to purchase two tickets.

It was the second that made him a much wealthier man.

Brannon said he plans to use a portion of his prize to buy a new home.
