Gwinnett hospitals named to quality honor role

Feb 17, 2011

Gwinnett Medical Center’s hospitals in Lawrenceville and Duluth have been named to the Georgia Hospital Association’s Partnership for Health and Accountability Quality Honor Roll.

The two facilities are among 56 hospitals in Georgia placed in the “presidential” category, one of the highest on the list. The honor roll is based on clinical data provided by the federal Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services. The data show how well hospitals adhere to eight measures of care for patients who have suffered heart attacks, heart failure or pneumonia.
