Let those frisbees fly, Gwinnett — Dacula just got a brand new disc golf course.

The city announced Wednesday that installation of the nine-hole course at Maple Creek Park is complete (for the most part, at least). Hole markers "have been backordered," but players can still enjoy more than 2,500 feet of disc golf goodness.

Players are reminded, however, that fences are out of bounds and that some of the course is inside the park's walking trails.

"Users of the trails and players are expected to respect each other," the city said on its website. "Park hours and rules apply."

Players should bring their own discs, but the city has a limited amount of loaners available.

Maple Creek Park is located at 425 McMillan Road.

Oh, and for the unfamiliar: Disc golf is basically golf with a disc. Players try to get their disc into basket-like targets with the fewest throws possible.
