Gwinnett County expands Highway 316 research, development corridor

Gwinnett Commissioners voted Aug. 25 to amend the 2030 Unified Plan Future Development Map to adjust the limits and boundaries of the Research & Development Corridor extending along Georgia Highway 316/University Parkway. Originally, this area was defined as beginning at Interstate 85 and extending to the west side of Dacula. The new designation will define the Research and Development all the way to the Barrow County line.

This designation of Highway 316/University Parkway is intended to enhance the county’s vision for this corridor as a prime location for R&D related business and investment.
