Greenspace, garbage cans and paving projects on East Point agenda
A public hearing will be held during the regularly scheduled meeting for East Point, starting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, at the Jefferson Station Council Chambers, 1526 East Forrest Ave., Suite 400. The public hearing is required for both a proposed amendment to the city code regarding electric fences and a special use permit for a place of worship located at 2967 Holcomb Court. Other items to be discussed are: plans for a town hall meeting; contract approval for the Centre Parkway Roadway repaving project with Mullin’s Brothers Paving Contractors; approval for the purchase of 95-gallon refuse containers; Dedication of Greenspace in Ward D; amendment to pension plan for city department heads; Intergovernmental Agreement with Fulton County; and the South Fulton economic development partnership.
