Glenridge closed at I-285 for underpass construction

Glenridge Drive in Sandy Springs will be closed at I-285 this weekend as crews move a left-turn lane from one side of the underpass to the other, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced.
The continuous closure is scheduled for 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday to allow crews to move the left-turn lane of northbound Glenridge to westbound I-285 from one side of the bridge columns to the other, GDOT said.
Glenridge will be closed southbound from Glenforest Drive to Johnson Ferry Road, and northbound to the ramp to westbound I-285. Also closed will be the westbound on-ramp, and the exit ramp from eastbound I-285 to Glenridge. Motorists can use Roswell Road to the west to cross I-285 or to enter or exit the interstate.
The work is part of the ongoing reconstruction of the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange in the Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.
