Ga. 400 flexible shoulder lanes, or flex lanes, in the top end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties will be closed during the daylight hours in the coming days to allow for tree removal and prepare for bridge construction, state highway officials announced.

The Georgia Department of Transportation says its construction partners will close the right shoulder lanes of the northbound and southbound sides of Ga. 400 between the MARTA North Springs station and Pitts Road from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Nov. 29-Dec. 2 and Dec. 4-8.

Exact dates may change due to the weather or other factors, GDOT says. The effort is part of the Transform 285/400 project to reconstruct the interchange of I-285 and Ga. 400 in the Sandy Springs-Dunwoody-Brookhaven area.
