Classes were delayed until 10 a.m. while police investigated a threatening note found on the Young Harris College campus in northeast Georgia.

GBI agents are assisting the college police department with the investigation, GBI spokesman John Bankhead said. Nothing has been located to indicate anyone is in danger, Bankhead said.

"We're operating on normal schedule now," Denice Cook, college spokeswoman, told the AJC at 1 p.m.

Cook also confirmed that nothing suspicious had been found.

Young Harris College is a private liberal arts college located in the Georgia mountains. It is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and has an enrollment of 820.
