Fulton health centers have whooping cough vaccine

The U.S. may be headed for its worst year for whooping cough in more than 50 years, and Fulton residents can get vaccinated for the highly contagious respiratory illness at county heath centers. The pertussis vaccine is recommended for all children and adults. The shots wear off over time, and everyone age 11 and older should get a whooping cough booster, called Tdap.
