Fulton appeals can be filed online

Fulton County property owners who believe the county got their tax values wrong can dispute them online. The assessor’s office plans to mail about 345,000 assessment notices Saturday, starting the clock on the 45-day appeal deadline.

For the second year, appeals can be filed at fultonassessor.org, and Chief Appraiser David Fitzgibbon says new software and techniques will make processing them go faster this year. Filers will receive confirmation and a tracking number.
