Emergency officials are investigating a train derailment Friday in Bartow County near Cartersville.

About 20 cars from a CSX train derailed Friday morning, tearing up the track. Televised reports showed a series of toppled cars. A representative with CSX said the train originated out of Michigan and was on its way to Comer, Ga., according to Channel 2 Action News.

CSX investigators are on the scene trying to determine what caused the accident.

No injuries or traffic delays were immediately reported.
