Free showing of “Smokey and the Bandit” in Jonesboro Oct. 12

Jonesboro is offering a free showing of the movie “Smokey and the Bandit” on Saturday, Oct. 12 in the Lee Street Park. The Bluegrassp band Faculty Grass will perform at 7:45 p.m. followed by the movie at 9 p.m. Scnes from Smokey and the Bandit were filmed in Jonesboro and Clayton County. Details: 770 478-3800.
