Authorities have arrested a fourth person in connection with a homicide at an apartment complex in Stone Mountain.
Destiny McDuffie, 20, was arrested Tuesday and charged with with murder in the death of Donovan Austin on March 7.
Authorities say on that night, an AK-47 and a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun were fired at least 40 times at Austin.
The incident happened around 3:45 a.m. in the parking lot at the Creekside Corner Apartments at 6306 Turnberry Place.
At the time investigators said they thought the shooting stemmed from a fight that happened at an unnamed club earlier that evening.
The people in the fight all knew each other, investigators said.
Austin and another man at the club returned to the apartments after being at the club. The other people involved in the fight followed them and confronted them in the parking lot, police said.
Authorities say multiple shots were fired, and the suspected gunmen ran off. The injured men were taken to an area hospital where Austin later died.
DeKalb and Gwinnett authorities arrested McDuffie at the Wesley Place Apartment Homes in Lawrenceville. She remains at the DeKalb County Jail.
Authorities have arrested three others in connection with this case. They are: Jacques Thornton; Marquette Mackie; and Sentelle Williams.
