A four-vehicle accident on Ga. 400 in Forsyth County has sent three people to the hospital, Capt. Jason Shivers with the Forsyth County Fire Department said.
The incident happened Thursday afternoon on Ga. 400 northbound and Jot-Em-Down Road, he said. One of the vehicles had overturned, he said.
Three people -- two men and a woman -- were flown to Northside Hospital-Forsyth. Shivers said all three were in stable condition and able to talk to authorities coherently.
A second woman suffered minor injuries and did not want to be treated, he said.
Another woman was not injured, he said.
Authorities did not release the names of the people involved or say how the accident happened.
The incident shut down all but one lane of Ga. 400 going north, slowing the afternoon commute headed into Dawson County, Shivers said.
