Atlanta police Wednesday were trying to determine what led to an overnight shooting that left at least four people wounded.

The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. Tuesday on Gould Street, in a neighborhood off Lakewood Avenue in southeast Atlanta.

Atlanta police spokesman John Chafee said said two men were shot in the chest, a third man was shot in the leg and a fourth man was shot in the arm and had a head injury that was also possibly a gunshot wound.

“One of the males that had been shot in the chest is listed in critical condition at Grady and the other three are in stable condition,” Chafee said early Wednesday.

“While on the scene, officers were advised by a female that she had been grazed in the head by a bullet,” Chafee said. "However, that female left the scene on her own before that was confirmed.”

No arrests have been made.
