The Forsyth County Animal Shelter has announced a “Home for the Holidays” promotion in which it will waive its standard pet adoption fee of $85.
The promotion begins Saturday, Nov. 24, and will be available for pet adoptions through Wednesday, Jan. 2, officials said. The adoption fee covers microchipping, altering and age-appropriate vaccinations
“All of the pets at the shelter deserve a good home year-round, but especially during the holidays, we are hoping that every animal here will find a home,” said Animal Shelter Manager Cindy Iacopella.
The Forsyth Animal Shelter is just off of Ga. 400 at 4065 County Way. Adoption hours are 10:30 a.m to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. The shelter will be closed on Christmas and New Year's days. Information: 678-965-7185 or www.forsythco.com/animalshelter.
