A high-rise senior citizen apartment building was evacuated overnight because of a kitchen fire in one of the units.
No injuries were reported in the fire, which broke out at Baptist Towers in the 1800 block of Myrtle Street in southwest Atlanta.
Channel 2 Action News reported that the flames were confined to one fifth-floor apartment.
Residents were allowed back in after the fire was doused and the smoke cleared from the 10-story building.
