A fire destroyed part of an Acworth flea market late Sunday morning, authorities said.
Fire fighters were called around 11:30 to the Yesteryear Antique and Flea Market at 4375 Cobb Parkway where one of the metal-roofed buildings was on fire, authorities said.
No injuries were reported.
"The fire started in one building and [nearly] spread to another building," Cobb County fire spokesman Lt. Dan Dupree said.
Several merchants' booths were burned, and the building was completely destroyed, Dupree said.
It took fire fighters about 45 minutes to put out the flames, and fire crews remain on the scene to put out hot spots.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire, but believe it may have been started by a space heater, Dupree said.
