The City of Fayetteville is hosting another community workshop at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 29 at City Hall, 240 S. Glynn St., to get citizen input regarding its 2017 Comprehensive Plan. The 20-year blueprint for future growth and development must be revised and adopted by next June. Discussion will focus on the various types of commercial and residential development that are desirable for the region as well as where they should be placed. Development in and around the main downtown area has been of particular concern because of traffic issues, balanced with the desire for more live-work areas.
