John Iacobucci spent a lot of time watching Boston Red Sox games courtesy of a satellite TV package his aunt paid for as a gift.

Perhaps that was a way for the Boston native to not be so preoccupied over the way his cancer was affecting his two sons and his nieces and nephews, family members said.

"He always had the game on," said Susan, his wife of 20 years.

The family, which included two sons —- both Red Sox fans like their dad —- had tickets to one of the Braves vs. Red Sox games at Turner Field at the end of this month.

Mr. Iacobucci, 44, died Sunday at his home in Peachtree City.

His wife, whom he met at Spring Hill College in Alabama, said he also went to Red Sox games at Fenway Park on business trips with A.E.P. Industries, formerly known as Atlantis Plastics.

Mr. Iacobucci was the vice president and general manager of A.E.P.Mr. Iacobucci moved with his parents and two sisters several times, living in Minnesota, Rhode Island and Tennessee, among other places.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, John David Iacobucci and Joseph Michael Iacobucci of Peachtree City; his parents, John and Maryann Iacobucci of Dunwoody; two sisters, Jean Snyder of Cincinnati, and Mimi Dukes of Dunwoody; and several nieces and nephews.
