For those who always said they’d make a good teacher, it’s time to put that first-day apple where your mouth is.

Local business owners can now apply to be a part of the Cobb Chamber’s “Teacher for a Day” program, which will take place between Feb. 5 and 9.

Applicants should expect to be in Cobb County, Marietta or post-secondary schools working alongside a teacher for half of a work day to see what they deal with.

“This innovative program asks the local business community to take a day away from the office and spend it in a classroom,” the chamber said.

You can apply online here before Jan. 17.
