An escort service operator accused of killing one of her clients in Milton two years ago was arrested Wednesday night in Houston, authorities said.

U.S. Marshals tracked down Kisha Marie Rutledge, 31, thanks to tips from viewers of “America’s Most Wanted,” which re-aired its segment on the case this month.

When deputies confronted Rutledge at a house on the west side of Houston, she denied who she was. But “when deputies looked for and located known tattoos on her arm, she admitted her true identity,” the U.S. Marshals Service said.

Rutledge is in jail, awaiting extradition to Georgia.

Rutledge was the fourth and final suspect wanted in the murder of 40-year-old businessman Keith Brown.

According to authorities, Brown would pay call girls directly, cutting Rutledge out of her profits. Rutledge, along with Jeff Dulcio, Stephen Woods and Michelle Morrison, went to Brown’s apartment at the Preserve at Deerfield on June 12, 2007, police said.

A gunfight broke out, and Brown was shot several times, police said. He was able to call 911 but apparently died while on the phone.

The other three suspects were arrested fairly quickly. Rutledge, of Sandy Springs, left town and spent time in Florida and Louisiana before being nabbed in Houston, authorities said.
