East Cobb YMCA offers free youth triathlon training

The next generation of Olympians can train for free over the next few weeks at East Cobb YMCA in preparation for an area triathlon.

The weekly training sessions are offered to Cobb residents ages 6 to 15, leading up to the Atlanta Kids Triathlon on Aug. 26. YMCA membership is not required. The sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

About 1,000 children are expected to participate in the triathlon.
