Dunwoody police have released the sketch of a man wanted in connection with the recent attempted burglary of a home.

The attempted burglary occurred shortly after midnight on Oct. 28 at a home on Daventry Drive.

According to police, the victim heard a noise outside her home, and when she went downstairs to investigate, she saw the man outside a window.

The man fled, but a police spokesman said investigators are considering him as a “possible sexual predator” since he tried to break into the home late at night when it was obviously occupied rather than when no one was at home.

The “person of interest” is described as being in his late 20s or early 30s.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Detective William Yeargin at 678-382-6916.
