The Dunwoody City Council voted 6-1 Tuesday evening to approve a separation agreement with City Attorney Brian Anderson, who was suspected of leaking information from a Feb. 3 closed council meeting.
Under terms of the agreement, Anderson will receive two months severance with benefits amounting to $29,176. The city has already spent $25,000 to investigate the affair, in which details of a closed meeting were reported in a local newspaper.
Anderson said he remains shocked that he was named as a source for the leak, and he has submitted results of a polygraph test to back him up.
