A Korean cafe in Duluth failed a recent health inspection after washing dishes in tepid water and failing to store food properly, officials said.

Ham Ji Bak, located at 3751 Satellite Blvd., received a 63/U on the inspection performed Thursday. According to the report, "pooled raw eggs and raw fish" were stored above ready-to-eat food and soup was left cooling on the stove for more than 13 hours. Dishes were being washed in water that was 63 degrees -- far below the minimum of 110 degrees.

The inspector also noted that seasonings and sauces "were either unlabeled or were labeled in Korean only," and that freezer shelves were improperly lined with cardboard and newspaper. The cafe was also cited for leaving its front and back doors open.

A follow-up was scheduled for three to 10 days after the original inspection.
