Instead of hauling used parts to the land fill, the Duluth Police Department recently sold several pieces of police equipment at auction. Items sold included a vehicle, engine block, auto lift and trailer. After commissions and fees, the city received $5,651 from the auction.

The Duluth Police Department routinely auctions used vehicles and equipment to help fund department needs.
