The Duluth City Council recently approved the rezoning of 5.26 acres in downtown for an age-restricted multi-family development consisting of 180 units. The project, known as Overture Duluth, is designed for people 55 years of age or older, who are able to maintain an active, independent lifestyle without the help of additional on-site services.

The project is bound to the north by a single-family neighborhood known as McClure Place and to the east by two single-family attached neighborhoods known as Park at Parsons and Towne Park Place. The site is bound to the south by Hill Street, and to the west by a single-family neighborhood known as South on Main. Across Hill Street is a cemetery.
