The Doraville City Council unanimously approved an agreement for police body cameras during the council meeting Monday. The agreement is between the Doraville Police Department with Taser International Inc. to provide the police with 40 body camera units. The total cost for all the cameras is $232,333.65.

The council also unanimously approved acceptance of a grant award by the Georgia Emergency Management Agency and Homeland Security Agency for $3,000. The grant is intended to help the city purchase equipment for the police department.
