Doctors order DeKalb CEO home for 2-3 weeks

DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis will run the county from his home for the next two-three weeks.

On Wednesday, Ellis had surgery to correct a herniated disc. The surgery was successful, but doctors ordered the CEO to spend the next few weeks resting at home, county officials said.
