A Smyrna convenience store sold a winning $250,000-a-year lottery ticket this week, and lottery officials are waiting for the lucky person to come forward.

The winner in Thursday’s multi-state Decades of Dollars drawing has 180 days to claim the prize, Georgia Lottery officials said. The ticket was purchased at the L&S Food Mart Inc. on South Cobb Drive.

It’s the second time this week that someone has won the prize, which provides a payout for 30 years or a cash option of $4 million. Someone in Evans won the prize Monday.

The winning combination for Thursday’s drawing was 2-9-12-25-26-42. The second-place prize is $10,000, which three players from Macon, Pembroke and West Point won in Thursday’s drawing.

The Decades of Dollars is also played in Virginia, Kentucky and Arkansas.
