DeKalb Watershed Management to discussion construction project

The DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management will host an informational community meeting 6:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 17 at the Narvie J. Harris Elementary School Cafeteria, 3981 McGill Drive, Decatur, to discuss construction activities for the Hearn Road Lift Station Replacement project.

The meeting will also review the expected traffic impacts on Hearn Road. The project will include the replacement of the sanitary sewer lift station located at 4137 Hearn Road to increase capacity, reduce sanitary sewer overflows and is part of DeKalb County’s $1.345 billion Capital Improvement Program. The public is encouraged to attend.
