DeKalb County commissioners want residents’ feedback on a proposed 2.32 millage increase.
The commission is scheduled to vote on the 2011 budget by March 1.
Commissioners Elaine Boyer, Kathie Gannon and Stan Watson will hold budget hearings Tuesday at Montgomery Elementary School on Ashford-Dunwoody Road and Thursday at Tucker library on LaVista Road. Both meetings are scheduled for 7 p.m.
CEO Burrell Ellis has proposed a $563 million budget which includes a 2.32 millage increase and some budget cuts. Commissioners have said they are reluctant to approve a tax hike.
