DeKalb seeks reps for District 4 seats on advisory boards

DeKalb County’s District 4 is looking for residents that like animals or technology. District 4 needs an appointee for the Animal Advisory Board. Members serve in an advisory capacity to the DeKalb County CEO and Board of Commissioners. Responsibilities include monitoring the master plan to insure professional practices including efficient service delivery and updated clean facilities. In addition, this board will serve as liaison to animal advocacy groups, animal professionals and county government.

There is also an opening for the District 4 appointee the the CATV Citizens’ Advisory Board. Members advise the Board of Commissioners regarding the utilization and coordination of facilities, equipment and access channels which are made available for use by citizens, government, and educational institutions under the franchise ordinances granted by the county.
