Teenagers can learn how to drive with the help of DeKalb County Police.
Officers and volunteers are hosting a free course to teach teens about the hazards they face behind the wheel.
The class will include information on the new no texting law, the effects of speeding, seat belt laws and how to avoid being a distracted driver, police spokesman Officer Jason Gagnon said.
The next class is scheduled for Nov. 17. For information, contact Stephanie Evans at 770-482-0395 or Trish Jackson at 770-482-0336.
