A former DeKalb County police officer pleaded not guilty Monday to charges he forced a woman to have oral sex with him, and in another instance offered to let a female motorist out of a traffic stop if she exposed herself to him, Channel 2 Action News reports.

Jeremy Tyrel Reynolds waived arraignment, and DeKalb Superior Court Judge Courtney Johnson granted a defense request for 20 days to file motions, according to a spokesman for the DeKalb District Attorney’s Office.

Reynolds initially was arrested and charged Jan. 29, 2010. He was reindicted May 10 on a single charge of aggravated sodomy and two charges of violation of oath of office.

According to the indictments for sodomy and violation of oath, in September 2009, Reynolds forced a woman to perform oral sex under threat of arrest if she refused.

The second violation of oath indictment says that during a traffic stop in January 2010, Reynolds told a female motorist he would not arrest her if she exposed her breasts to him.

Reynolds was fired from the force after 2½ years with the department, Channel 2 reported.
