The honor guard of the DeKalb County Police Department has won top honors in a competition during the recent annual Georgia Police Memorial Ride.

The win was the second in a row for the eight-member unit, which received high marks in uniform inspection, presentation of colors and drill routine.

For the award, the team received a plaque that will hang in the police department.
