The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce recently named the winners of its first contest to honor small business and corporations that have continued to support the community through the economic downturn.
The group’s Everest Awards are designed to honor those firms that increased community giving and support in the past year.
Cartridge World of Decatur, Eye Physicians & Surgeons PC and EPS Surgical Center, LLC were named as the winners of the Small Business of the Year Award.
Comcast and DeKalb Medical Center were honored as Corporations of the Year.
